Hi I'm Laura, and I'm a mum of two. I originally started coming along to The Hub for the Infant Feeding Social and Creative Journaling sessions, which I still love to come along to, and now I run the Chatter & Natter group. The Hub is a fantastic space to pop along to for a chat or for a quiet craft session (I bring along crochet to make clothes for the kiddos). Come join me? :)
Hi I'm Janet. I started at the hub after seeing an advertisement for volunteers. I'm a local business owner, mum, and carer, who's always lived in Hartlepool, and I really wanted to give some time to my community, so I got in touch. I instantly loved the hub - I was nervous about starting, but it's a friendly, comfortable, relaxing place to visit.

Who are the sessions for?
Anyone needing a chat!
There’s no age limit, you can come by yourself or bring someone with you.
Children are very welcome, we have lots of toys and activities for them to play with while you enjoy a drink and a chat.
If you’re not a parent, you can come too. We’re here for anyone who’d like some company and a chat.
When do the sessions happen?
Chatter & Natter is on every Monday 10am-12pm.
What happens in these sessions?
We have a cup of tea, chat about anything from the weather to health problems to whatever is on your mind.
Do I have to pre-book?
These sessions are drop in, you don't need to book and you can come for 5 minutes or 2 hours.
Do I need to bring anything?
You don't need to bring anything, we provide a variety of refreshments.
Do I need to talk?
Absolutely not. We have stickers for anyone who would like to have company but not chat. We also have a quiet room to chill out in if things get overwhelming.
Are you accessible?
The Women's Health Hub is an LGBTQIA+ affirming space, and we are fully wheelchair accessible.
