Hi, I'm Zoe

I'm an Autistic mother, a wife, a baker, a creator, a research scientist and a doula & birth activist based in the North East.

I launched Postpartum Matters in 2021, after sharing my postpartum experience following the birth of my second child. I had quite a difficult postpartum experience with her and I found it really difficult to manage, it often felt very lonely.

I was shocked to find that, once I had spoken out, many people really struggle with this time and this made me passionate to create a safe space where women could access support and share their own story.

I am passionate about supporting you in the perinatal period and beyond. I offer doula services as part of the CIC as well as running regular creative workshops at The Women's Health Hub & online via our Substack community.

Team

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.

This is your Team section. It's a great place to introduce your team and talk about what makes it special, such as your culture or work philosophy. Don't be afraid to illustrate personality and character to help users connect with your team.

Join Our Newsletter

For information about The Women's Health Hub, but also to hear postpartum stories, my personal essays, as well as a community of women supporting each other, and you are so welcome to join us.

There's also an option to become a monthly or annually paid member which gives you access to our beautiful membership magic benefits ~ such as our seasonal community connection circles & our Mindful Bookbinding sessions.

Paid subscriptions to our newsletter are a great way for us to build up a regular income stream. This is really crucial for the long term sustainability of The Women’s Health Hub and will hopefully go a long way in encouraging funders to support us financially too. Your £3.50 a month (or £36 a year) can go a long way to making our dream a reality and we are so incredibly grateful.
